There were times where I knew that if I didn’t say a prayer right then, I wouldn’t.

I've found the same to be true in my life.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00219023897626648057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24576793.post-89059129154828478972008-10-03T12:29:00.000-04:002008-10-03T12:29:00.000-04:00It *absolutely* makes sense, and I'm just as guilt...It *absolutely* makes sense, and I'm just as guilty as the next of allowing life to get in the way. I have to check my faith on a regular basis, as I have a habit of going to church and laying down my burdens at the foot of the cross the way we're instructed to, just to turn around and dig 'em all back up again on Monday. And I tell myself that it's not because I don't trust God to handle it for me, because I know He can and will handle things better than I ever could. But you're exactly right - like I tell my son - "just because you didn't get the answer you wanted, doesn't mean you didn't get your answer." As a child of God I need to get better about listening to that same advice, instead of trying to handle things myself to avoid the answer God is providing that I might not like so much... : )

~Gin~Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
