Santa's coming on a chinook this year. Hope that you all have a great Christmas.

Savannah River Bridge Run
I told Andy at the beginning of last week that I wanted to start running. Emphasis on START. As in, I've not run in three years, I'm going to walk a lot and throw in some jogging, work my way up, start running. So, he calls me on Thursday and says, "You want to run in a 5K? I'm going to sign us up." Seriously? After telling him there would be a lot more walking than running, I agree. Besides, we're in Savannah - it's all flat, right? Nope - The Talmadge Memorial Bridge, which we ran across, has a 5.5% grade for almost a mile. I would have posted pictures of me crawling up the bridge, but there wasn't a pretty one in the bunch. :-)

Christmas is nearly here!
I took the boys to a local park to make their pictures for our Christmas cards. Jake was really into posing for the pictures. Will, on the other hand, thought it was really funny to pose right until I was ready to take the picture, and then to take off running. We have been busy trying to get gifts bought and wrapped, and lights on the house and tree, etc. It's been hard to get into the holiday spirit here because when I walk out of the house it's 75 degrees outside. You would think one wouldn't complain about warm weather, but IT'S DECEMBER! This will be my first bright and sunny Christmas.

Thank You
Hi, everyone. I don't know if anyone even still comes here, it's been such a while since I have posted. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support after Ethan died. Ginger, I love you. I think that you should have been present during all my children's births. If we ever decide to have another one, go ahead and plan on being there. If we're overseas, I'll buy your ticket. Maybe you'll luck up and we'll be somewhere exotic, like Hawaii. Everyone else, just thank you so much for your prayers for our family as we went through and are still going through this. I love you all.

1st day of school
Friday, August 03, 2007
We are finally here. Our household goods were delivered on Wednesday, so we have been busy unpacking. I have no idea when we will be finished. It seems like there is no end in sight. Andy reports back to work on the 9th, and Jake starts school on the 10th. We are waiting on the VA to close on our house here, but we are already in, and have painted walls, etc. We will just be glad when we are no longer living with boxes. :-)

Moving to Savannah
We have (almost) sold our house. :-) We are just waiting for closing, so that we can then go buy a new one in Savannah. We are very excited and more than a little stressed. Moving this close to when school starts for Jacob and when Ethan is due to get here is a little much, but hopefully it will all go smoothly. We were a little worried about selling the house at first because we only had one person look at it the first two weeks, but it actually only took 25 days to sell, so it wasn't as bad as we thought. We were just getting antsy. If all goes well, we should be in Savannah by the end of next month. :-)

IT'S A BOY!!
Sorry about the picture quality. I forgot to take a disk in with me, so this is actually a picture of the picture. Jacob was a little disappointed at first, because "we already have a boy". But after we told him that he could help name the baby and teach him how to play soccer, he got very excited. We just have to talk Jake out of naming the baby "friend" now. :-)

Disney World
These are some pictures that we took at Disney World. In the first, Sidney and Jacob are in a sharks belly. The second picture we took at Epcot Center. In the third picture, the kids are digging into the Volcano desert at the "Jungle Restaurant". I can't remember the name of it, but that's what Jacob calls it.

Update
Hi, everyone. I know that it has been a long time since I have posted anything. We've just been really busy now that Andy is home. We are doing good. Andy is back at work. We are still not sure where we will be going next. Who knows when the army, in their infinate wisdome, will decide to let us in on that little secret. Anyway, we have some new news. I am expecting again. The baby is due Sept. 8. It's the first time that I will be pregnant during the summer, so I'm not looking foward to that. In fact, not looking forward to the pregnancy. It would be nice if someone could just hand me a newborn, and I could bypass the pregnancy part of process. :-) I'm sure that there are others who can relate.
